Ayurveda is not man made but believed to be a divine gift is the patron saint of this supreme system. Keraleeya Chikitsa is a purificatory therapy usually preceded by Snehana (Oil Massage) and Svedana (Method of sudation or fomentation). It has Rejuvenative therapeutic approaches in the management of degenerative diseases.

Rejuvenation Massage & Steam Bath

This Massage includes body massage with Herbal Oils/ Powder by hand and followed by medicated steam bath. This 90 minutes therapy is good for rejuvenating the whole body to reduce mental tension, Sexual weakness and improve vitality etc.

General Massage

Body massage with herbal powder or oil for one hour by hand to tone up the body to improve blood circulation etc.

Udvarthanam

This is a typical massage with herbal powders and oil, followed by medicated steam bath for about 90 minutes. It reduce fat and weight.

Medicated Steam Bath

Certain precious herbal leaves and herbs are boiled and steam is passed to wholebody for 10-20 minutes. This is good for certain skin diseases, to eliminate impurities form the body, to reduce fat.

Pizichil

Lukewarm herbal oil is dripped all over the body by trained technicians in a special rhythmic way for about 60-90 minutes.

Indications: Hemiplegia, Paralysis, rheumatic complaints, joints stiffness, nervous disorders.

Njavarakizhi

It is a process by which the whole body or any specific part thereof is made to perspire by the application of certain medicinal puddings externally in the form of boluses tied up in a muslin bg. Duration 60-90 minutes.

Indications : Sluggishness, Rheumatism, Joint pains.

Dhara (thyla, Thakra, Ksheera)

Some herbal oils, medicated milk, medicated butter milk etc are poured on the forehead in a special way for about 45 minutes.

Indications : Insomnia, mental tension, skin diseases.

Nasyam

This is one of the important treatments in panchkarma in which herbal juices, medicinal oils etc are applies through nose.

Indications: Head aches, mental disorders, skin diseases.
